It seems today is the 8th. We're still in Estelline, the university exists, and Mr. No-zen here accosted this bystander about how his emotions weren't right. It seems that if such thing is true, this random man is not aware about it at all. Interrogating him further will not bring new answers.
[ Miach pauses at that for a moment before remembering that maybe she should share her findings with Sholmes. ]
I inquired about the date earlier - the couple I talked to seemed unsure between the 10th and 11th but then settled on it being the 10th.
[ That little disagreement was something she'd just written off as people being people but with a third date thrown into the mix? ]
Anyway, aberrant emotions are a more widespread phenomenon right now and Mr. Shinei Nouzen is worried about it. Whatever is about to happen seems to concentrate at the show - I wonder if we are going to witness the 'yearly phenomenon' that was brought up before?
This man seemed quite confused before mentioning the date. Perhaps in his mind he also tried to determine today's date.

The journey to the tent is... largely uneventful! The crowd seems especially thin near the big top, but just as they're about to enter someone grabs Sholmes' by the arm.
And by "someone" I mean "a clown", who is looking at the two of them with quite a serious expression, which is quite hard to pull off with the smile painted on her face.]
You sure you two are ready to be a part of the show?
She begins leading them towards a smaller tent, tutting.]
You're the main event. All you need to do is what's asked of you, and the show will go off without a hitch.
[She glances back as she pulls open the flap keeping the tent closed. There's a vanity with a mirror someone placed, covered in makeup perfect for clowning around, and there are some costumes hanging from a rack. There's also a couple of wigs, to complete the look.]
You can ignore those other guys. They're not ready yet, but they will be in time for the big show. This is just a dress rehearsal.
[Oh this can't end well, can it. Herlock Sholmes eyes the make-up too. Alright, looks like he doesn't have any further questions. Nothing to do but go with the current for the time being, he thinks]

[Sholmes, somehow, decides to eye the many options and choose the most aesthetically pleasing. Apparently he's taking the costume part pretty seriously, going for a clown outfit completely unlike his usual clothes. It's a lot of green and stripes, making him look leaner than he is. On his face he paints a friendly smile, and turns to Miach]
It's been a while since I had to disguise myself for anything! Dyeing my hair does not count as a disguise.
[He seems pretty excited about the costuming. Looks like he's ready]
[The clown looks disappointed, but Miach is Trying more than not at all, so. Good enough.
She nods once they’re both ready, before opening a flap in the back of the tent. All the better to reach the big top without people seeing the performers too soon!]

[She stops just outside of the largest tent, looking back at Miach and Herlock expectantly.]
[ Miach thinks that maybe it's a good thing she's got a lot of experience in being put through exercises that she absolutely despises doing. This is humiliating, sure, but considering how often she's been robbed of her dignity before, she can handle it fine.
