Blurb: Mae is a young woman who is just doing her best! And her best is pretty bad ngl. Mae is a good person, but she's also self-absorbed and a bit naive, and she tends to make a mess everywhere she goes (sometimes on purpose). A lot of shit has happened in her past that she's trying to move on from but it takes work.

She's pretty sassy and isn't afraid to speak her mind. A lot of people think she's an asshole but she's somehow managed to gain some ride or die friends back home and maybe she'll be able to pull it off again!

Also she loves committing Crimes.

Looking for: Friends, rivals, really anything. Mae does best with people who are willing to challenge her worldview but who are patient enough to deal with her being kind of clueless. She also easily gets along with those who are weirdoes or outcasts themselves.
Offering: I KNOW I'VE KIND OF MADE HER SOUND LIKE THE WORST but Mae really is a ride or die friend once you get to know her, and she'll back you up and be there for you no matter what (as long as she realizes something is going on; just be blunt with her that's the best way). Mae is also really good at climbing stuff and unafraid of getting into any kind of trouble so if you want someone for that she's your girl.

Other:
1. YES MAE LOOKS LIKE A CAT. In her world actual, non-talking, pet cats still exist though, so if you call her a cat she'll be like "????? I'm not a cat??? I'm a person???" but it's okay, you aren't mistaken, she really does have cat ears and a tail and fur. She's human sized but canonically short, I hc she's topping out at 5 foot.
2. Mae has some rough stuff in her background and also has an unspecified mental illness, which sometimes causes disassociative episodes. I don't intend to actually play those out, but if you'd also like to avoid talking about it at all, I do have an opt-out for that and anything else that could come up. Overall I won't be springing something heavy on someone out of nowhere though.
