i haven’t found anyone like that. there’s a lot about me that’s totally out of sync w/ normal people.
but i’m not unhappy. it used to be hard! but then there were people that accepted me despite being so different. even if our clocks won’t ever match, that’s part of the fun of it. it’s fun to see how each clock ticks. ^_^)
is there anything in this house that you think belongs to you? oh, maybe we could play bloody mary. but instead of bloody mary, you show up in the mirror! ò v ó)9
Uwaaaahhhahaha! It’s like a real haunting! This is awesome!
[ this is exciting! this is so exciting! flat is so happy, that he almost wants to break out into a little dance in delight, but holds back from doing so. there’s important things to do!
he’ll hurriedly grab the paints, brushes, and some paper and rush into the bathroom with an almost manic grin as he shuts the door behind him. using the paper as a makeshift palette, he’ll put some of the paint and, with the brush he’ll write on the mirror: ]
[There's no response on the mirror as the room goes dark, but as he goes to find a switch he'll find there actually... isn't any. Reaching out to the wall will still end in the room going dark, but.
That's weird, probably.
The mirror remains blank, the minutes ticking by quietly, but then... something rests on the top of Flat's head. Whatever it is is quite light, and is shuffling about.]
[There's surprisingly little Alarmed Rustling from whatever it is on his head - there's actually a soft chirp, and the Whatever lets itself be grabbed without trying to escape. It's very soft!
[ well, even with the lights off, flat can try to make out the outline... he places the little thing on the palm of his hand, bringing it down from his head. it's hard to hold a little critter and write on the wall, but flat has always been a specialist in multitasking. ]

It can't be a bad thing to be happy, right? Even if I'm different it wouldn't be bad if I was happy with who I am, so it's okay?

maybe our mission here is to help you figure yourself out? what do you think?
no subject
Maybe? But I think I would rather help you find a way out? It's fine if I'm stuck here.
no subject
and we’ll try to get you out as well! i at least want to find where you are!
no subject
I wonder where I am. I wish I knew more, but I feel like I have to be there. Or at least a part of me, maybe?

what about now!?
no subject
Oh. I can actually see you like this. Can you read the writing okay?
[Actually a valid question, because the question does appear... well, mirrored. Like Lethe is on the opposite side of the mirror itself.]

[ delighted, flat goes to turn off the lights. after a moment of adjusting to the darkness, he writes on the mirror. ]
ready?! focus on trying to show yourself to me!

[ wait. ]
Lethe?!
no subject
[Another gentle peck to his hand!]
I didn't know I was going to be... this.

[ ...
he'll just slide down to the floor to make himself comfortable. ]
But don't be disheartened. Maybe this is just, like, a piece of you?

[…]
I also don’t think birds are supposed to be able to talk like this?
no subject
[ hehe! ]
I mean, do you think you can possess anything else?
