Taking a quick peek at the record book first, what kind of spending did our sentient house do?]

[It's multi-month!

Bills, mostly. There's records of electricity, water, mortgage payments... Some records for furniture and art stores, clothing stores. Nothing in the way of food, but it does seem like every other purchase they've made is in this book. Judging from how many reoccurring bills there are, this record book was started about two years ago.]

[That's either a strange oversight or very intriguing. Anything else of note in the record book as he flips through? Otherwise, despite lacking Marcus's talent for defeating inanimate objects, he's going to attempt the drawers.]

And luckily for Phantom, the drawers are unlocked. Unfortunately for Phantom, most of them are empty. Rummaging through them will net him a glasses case, though.]

A house key!]

[OHO. That's actually pretty exciting! He pockets that and does one more sweep of the drawers. No suspicious looking hidden cubbies here?]

[Not in these drawers, nope! And with the key obtained, the room is clear! Where does he want to go next?]

[Well, if there haven't been any telltale screams, he'll just move down the hallway to the next door.]

[No screams thus far! It does seem like there was a bit of a ruckus downstairs, but that's just doors slamming. Nothing to worry about. Probably?

The next room is... almost entirely empty, except for a table in the center of it. Will he go look at it, or will he go see what's up with all the noise?]

[Okay, no, the noise is unsettling. The table room will have to wait another moment. Armed with his books(!), Phantom heads back towards the door slamming.]
