[They scratch their cheek, looking a bit perplexed for a moment.]
Well, I mean, this is a pretty small circus…
[Uh. Hm.]
We got clowns? And some acrobats who do like… tightrope walking and all that. We don’t have any animal shows, though, I know a lot of people are disappointed about that…
Intriguing! [Let him check his pockets aaaaaand...no money] I will be coming back later.
[Giving a nod to the ticket booth, Sholmes steps away. This circus appearing out of nowhere, and all these people here...so far, it seems mundane. Surprisingly so.
How do these people look? Are they distorted in any way, like the bus driver from the weekend?
The people don’t seem at all like the bus driver - they all seem completely normal. No distortion to their figures, their voices… Nothing about them seems abnormal.
Unless Sholmes thinks modern clothing is abnormal.]
[Hm! Well! Interesting stuff to see, but not outright abnormal. That these seem like normal people is especially noteworthy, in his opinion.
Welp! Seems to him like getting into the circus somehow is the best thing he can do right now, see if perhaps that will shed some light into why he's here in the first place. Let's wander around a bit, see what he can find.
So! Let's take a look at all these booths and the stands! And keep an eye out for money that may have been dropped, that would be useful too]
[He can mostly see the backs of the booths clearly from outside of the circus, but as he lurks he’ll be able to pick up a few coins…
Maybe a dollar…
But it’s not a lot, so it might take a while.
There’s a haphazard barrier set up around the circus, though, and it doesn’t seem like every inch of it is under surveillance, if he just wants to sneak in.]
Yeah, no, this isn't going to work. Sholmes takes it all anyway because you never know what's useful. Still, looking around to figure out the right timing when nobody is looking, Sholmes approaches the barrier and jumps over it, sneaking in. Let's go! Into forbidden terrain!]
[It might be good if he ever runs into a vending machine! Maybe!
He manages to get in without anyone noticing him - or at least nobody who’s going to stop him noticing. There’s one teenager who gives him a nod, respecting the hustle of this weird guy.
But now the circus is open to him! He can either stop by the tents, the games, the concession stands… Or he could be the third one to go on the Ferris wheel.]

[What would he be dealing with were he try to get in, he has to wonder]

It’s a shame it seems like there’s a fight about to break out.]
